Volunteering at DKMS Africa supports our key mission: to make sure that everyone in need of a blood stem cell transplant can find a donor, and have a second chance at life.
Our volunteers make a huge a difference every day by helping us to advance our work. They provide support to patients throughout the donation process, for example through helping them host donor registration events, fundraise or raise awareness about the importance of blood stem cell donation. Our volunteers are an integral part of the work that we do.
As a volunteer with DKMS, not only will you have the opportunity to support our key mission, but you’ll also be able to build your confidence, meet new people and develop skills through our volunteering opportunities. There are lots of things you can do to get involved - from raising funds and awareness to supporting a donor recruitment drive to helping with administrative tasks - there's plenty on offer, whatever your interest.
