Brett is an international inspirational speaker, entrepreneur and philanthropist who has published a book called ALONE. He has various interests in the Hotel and Hospitality Industry and he works with charities in his home town of Cape Town


Zoë Brown
Zoë is an award-winning radio presenter on The Flash Drive on KFM radio, TV presenter and host. In addition, Zoë is a talented MC, content creator and works closely with select charities in South Africa.


Ray Funnell
Ray was diagnosed with acute myeloid leukaemia (AML) in 2006 and received a stem cell transplant from his brother, he relapsed about a year later and endured a further 6 rounds chemo. By the end of 2008 Ray was well enough to leave hospital. In 2011 Ray embarked on a mission to climb the Seven Summits to encourage other leukaemia sufferers, raise funds for the Sunflower Fund and to promote blood donors. He is the founder of the annual Everest Challenge event.

Neil was diagnosed with acute myeloid leukaemia (AML) in 2016. His brother was a perfect match, after following 3 rounds of chemotherapy – Neil had a stem cell transplant in July 2016. His experience has taught him the importance of support, togetherness, and family. His role is to now play it forward. Neil sees it as his duty to be available to support patients and families – to give them hope and care.

KMK, to those who know her well, is a South African Fashion Designer, whose design ethos is off the wall and colorful. She is a passionate supporter of many worthy causes. 2020 marking her 15th year as an ambassador to The Sunflower Fund. She is mother of four and married to Boudewijn.
