Join DKMS Africa, Masi and Sipho for a community-led 5KM Shake Out Run in Sea Point in support of World Blood Cancer Month.

Whether you are preparing for marathon weekend, walking with friends, or showing up for a meaningful cause, everyone is welcome to join the run.

ROCK UP IN RED

Rock up in red in support of patients and families affected by blood cancer.

Location: Sea Point Promenade, Cape Town
Distance: 5KM

The route will begin at the SABC Building in Sea Point and continue along the promenade toward the 2.5KM turning point before returning to the starting location, completing the full 5KM route.

The route is designed to be accessible and community-friendly for runners and walkers of different fitness levels.

To support the campaign, participants are encouraged to register online as stem cell donors and rock up in red on the day of the run.

Registration as a stem cell donor is free and takes just a few minutes to complete.

Every year, more than 7,100 people in South Africa are diagnosed with blood cancer. For many patients, a stem cell donor could be their best chance at survival.

By joining the registry, you could one day become the life-saving match a patient has been waiting for.
