Join DKMS Africa, Grindstone and Unfound Garden Route at Garden Walk Mall for a stem cell donor registration drive inspired by 13-year-old Alba Overbeeke's search for a matching stem cell donor.

Registering takes just a few minutes and involves a simple cheek swab. Your tissue type will be added to the international stem cell donor registry, giving patients with blood cancer and blood disorders a greater chance of finding a lifesaving match.

Although inspired by Alba's journey, this event is about helping every patient searching for a stem cell donor.

Who can register?

• Between 17 and 55 years old
• In good general health
• Living in South Africa

you may be eligible to join the stem cell donor registry.

DKMS Africa representatives will be on site throughout the day to answer your questions and guide you through the registration process.

Bring and share with your friends, family and colleagues, because the person who could save a life may already be living in the Garden Route.
